Dental anaesthesia

  • altatas2Treatments usually performed in local or general anaesthesia

Due to the development in the technical fields and in the medical science, treatment under anaesthesia has becoming more and more frequent in dentistry as it has several advantages and in certain cases it is unavoidable. The Dent Art Klinic provides high quality treatment in this area, too and thus you will not associate the process with any uncomfortable feeling. Depending on need in the dental treatment, the patient and the anaesthetist can together in a consultation decide on which form of anaesthesia shall be applied. The procedure is carried out by specialists of substantial knowledge and great experience and they control the patient's state of affairs from the first moment to the last one during the operation. A dental treatment under anaesthesia provides circumstances of a comfortable, precise and quick work for the dental surgeon. The patient can at the same time avoid a conscious following of the procedure.

We recommend dental treatment under anaesthesia in case of:

    • comprehensive dental treatment which may extend for a longer time and may require to much material for local anaesthesia
    • short but potentially painful treatment

In case of dental treatments requiring the participation of the patient, we do not recommend anaesthesia. Such cases may involve the determination of the bite form after a tooth replacement or filling as well as placing of the bridgework. Treatment may be counterindicated in pregnancy or in decompensated heart disease.
